Information you provide
When you create an account or use DistroLanes, we process account and authentication details such as your email address, profile information, profile or avatar images, and sign-in activity. We also process the company and operational data you enter, including customers, customer contact information, business addresses, products, orders, invoices, payments, suppliers, purchase records, expenses, and reports.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, maintain company access, provide distribution workflows, calculate operational metrics, protect the service, respond to support requests, and maintain reliable business records. We do not use your business data for advertising or sell it.
Location, images, and delivery information
When you grant permission, location information may be used for map or navigation-related functionality. Customer and business addresses may be used for mapping and route-related features. When users choose to provide them, we may process profile or avatar images, delivery-related photos, delivery records, proof-of-delivery information, and signatures.
Company access and isolation
Company membership controls access to operational records. Users should only be able to access data for companies where they have an active membership, subject to the permissions of their role. You are responsible for inviting and managing people in your company workspace.
Security and service providers
DistroLanes uses cloud and backend infrastructure, including authentication, database, hosting, and related service providers, to store and process DistroLanes data. Where applicable, mapping, geocoding, and navigation providers may process location or address information to provide those functions. Service providers process information only as needed to provide their services. Information is transmitted over secure connections and access is limited through authentication, company-scoped authorization, and role controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely risk-free.
Retention
We retain account and operational information while it is needed to provide the service and to preserve legitimate business, audit, tax, legal, or dispute records. Deletion and anonymization may be subject to those record-keeping requirements.
Account deletion
You can initiate account deletion from authenticated DistroLanes account settings. You can also request deletion by emailing support@distrolanes.com from the email address associated with your DistroLanes account and stating that you are requesting account deletion. DistroLanes may request reasonable verification before processing the request. Deleting an account may remove access to company data associated with that account. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business-record purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or request deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention needs. Use the support page to request help with a privacy question.
